The yacht is well known to Owen Clarke Design and so we are in an even better than normal position to broker this vessel, Merfyn Owen project managed her during the design, construction phases and for her first around the world race.
On stepping aboard this older generation Open 60 it is clear she has had a very well maintained past and wisely spent budget.
Originally 'Team Group 4' under Mike Golding she then completed the 2004/5 Vendee Globe as 'Hellomoto' under Conrad Humphreys backed by Motorola, she then benefited from a full refit in 2006/7 as 'Aviva' under Dee Caffari.
The yacht has been well maintained with no expense spared. She is in good condition with little visible damage or signs of wear and tear to the areas where one might otherwise expect it.
The yacht lost its rig during the 2007 B to B. We have sourced a possible replacement, but the vessel is for sale without a rig. She is an eligible contender for the Eco division in the VELUX 5 OCEANS RACE 2010-11
