Solune is a Category 1 built, IRC swing keel and water ballasted 60' offshore racing boat designed primarily for crewed racing for events such as the Fastnet and Sydney to Hobart races, but with all of the characteristics of an IMOCA Open 60.
The yacht has a large cockpit with coffee grinders and a layout set up for offshore as well as inshore windward/leeward regattas. The living accommodation consists of a central galley and chart table with pipe cots on both sides. In addition to the hydraulically actuated swing keel their are additional water ballast tanks to adjust trim and add righting moment. Winner of the RORC Allan Paul and Stradivarius season trophies
