Owen-Clarke and Boatshed Performance celebrate five years as the first international brokerage specialising in performance racing and cruising yachts. Owen Clarke Design partnered with Boatshed Performance in 2005 to provide a specialist brokerage service for performance racing yachts and custom built high performance cruisers including Volvo 70, Volvo 60, Open 60, Open 50, Class 40, Open 30 and Mini Transat yachts.
Each client speaks to a specialist broker about how to facilitate the brokering of their yacht. Every yacht is visited, up to 80 photos of her interior and exterior are taken and her inventory inspected. The yacht is first listed on Owen Clarke Design’s brokerage site, then described in detail before going live on Boatshed Performance.com and across the Boatshed offices worldwide with offices from Seattle to Phuket. Owen Clarke Design bring their technical knowledge to each sale, attend viewings, while Boatshed Performance also attend viewings, handle the sale, negotiation, client funds, contracts and post sale services.
