Artforms arrives in New Zealand

Sunday, 02 November 2003
Only three weeks after launching his new Owen Clarke Open 50, Kip Stone has sailed across the Tasman with his project manager Alan Nebauer. The first shakedown voyage was completed in a relatively conservative fashion - no aims for record breaking on this trip! They still managed a storming passage from Cape Reinga, at the northern tip of New Zealand, down to Auckland in 18 hours. It will only be a few days whilst the short work list is completed before Kip will start sailing solo in preparation for his qualification for the STAR Transat next June.
