Australian mini sailor wins Trans Tasman Race |

| Wild Child’s win in this year’s Tasman Race was more astounding for the fact that his yacht won not only as the smallest entry, but despite the fact that he launched his 6.5 mini with the help of friends only weeks before the start.
27 year old Bower is hoping to get a ‘wild card’ entry for next year’s mintransat and he will bring to that race his offshore racing experience and back ground in 16ft skiffs at national championship level.
