Artforms flying to first place and new record in the 2004 Single-Handed Transat Race

In November 2005 Artforms is taking part in the Transat Jacques Vabres Race double-handed race from France to Salavador (Brazil). She's the fastest boat of her class in the world and won the Transat singlehanded race last year in record time. This year so far Kip and Merfyn Owen have won the Bermuda 1-2 together, again in record time.
Now when she gets to Salvador Kip's planning to sail the boat on from there in three phases:
1. Salvador to Cape Town starting late November
2. Cape Town to Salvador again in the race that was formally the Cape-Rio Race startting in January
3. Salvador back to the UK or US in March
In all three of these phases there will be crew places available. The cost of which will be @ US$ 10,000 for the three weeks on the boat. Perhaps a little less for the deliveries and a little more for the race legs, to be decided later on.
In addition the naming rights for the race itself are available for sale at US$45,000 for the race, plus any incidental costs involved such as graphics etc. Kip would stay with the boat as co-skipper/crew (to look after her and bring his knowledge), but the boat would effectively be chartered and could be re-branded for the race so long as their was money available to return her to her original format. In effect that's purchasing the four berths.
There might also be the possibility of doing some corporate and day charter stuff in Cape Town if the local regs allow. Cost of this would be @ US$ 1,200 per day excluding catering, say four persons onboard.
