Solo sailor Kip Stones crossed the equator early Monday, April 5, approximately 18 days after leaving the Falkland Island.
Kip is en route to Plymouth England, where he will compete in this Transat staring 31 May 2004. As you can see Kip has now appeared on the bottom of the North Atlantic Map. It is always a milestone on a long passage when you can put charts away.
