For more than 40 years, Garcia Yachts has been building exceptional sail boats capable of covering long distances on the high seas with ease. 'Fani' is a very well-presented aluminium sloop with a lifting keel. In previous ownership she undertook a fantastic trip around the world which included Panama, French Polynesia, New Zealand, Mauritius and the Cape of Good Hope - an excellent adventure cruiser for any future owner.

Constructed by renowned shipyard GARCIA, 'Fani' (formerly BENIGUET) is exceptionally well built and maintained. She was originally built according to the French commercial yacht registry in 2005 and has since had major refits in 2014 and 2020. Now returned to near good as new condition this Garcia 86 is ready to go. Perfect for bluewater cruising, with her lifting keel she can cover vast oceanic distances with ease, as well as accessing those more remote shallow waters. 'Fani' is ideal for oceanic passage making as well as coastal cruising or island hopping and is indeed a very impressive, comfortable, strong and reliable sailing yacht.

‘Fani’ can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests in 4 cabins alongside 2 crew members. All cabins have en-suite facilities. The guest cabins consist of 2 x aft double + single pullman bed cabins, 1 x amidships triple bed + pullman cabin and 1 x amidships twin bed cabin. The forward crew cabin features 1 x twin bed cabin. The interior is very well laid out and features expansive dining and lounging areas serviced from the fully equipped forward galley. In the raised deckhouse a further lounging zone adjacent to the navigation station provides fantastic panoramic views through the all-round glazing and allows daylight to flood the lower saloon area. Exiting the deck house to the cockpit reveals the extremely comfortable port and starboard lounging/dining sofas port and starboard with teak cockpit tables enabling alfresco dining in comfort. The main working area of the cockpit is further aft and separated from the lounging area, providing a safe environment when handling the easily managed sail plan.

As part of the 2020 refit, the superstructure, hull & deck, all in aluminium, was repainted in a light grey gloss finish.
