The Pogo40 was the leading model of the early Class 40 circuit. She has been designed to sail long distances at high speed. Thanks to an ergonomic cockpit and deck layout, she is simple to sail single handed or with a reduced crew. She is easy to maintain, reliable and carries plenty of reserve buoyancy foam. This is the 'S' model which has the infused composite structure making for a stiffer lighter structure. With the Pogo 40 you can line up with goals of winning at the start of any one of the international offshore races, suitable for either amateur or professional crews, or you can just take your family on a long-distance trip across the Atlantic during a sabbatical year.

She has done few racing miles over the last couple of years and in the 2019 Fastnet race lost her rig. A brand-new Carbon mast from Lorimar has been fitted spring 2020 along with all new standing and running rigging and all the minor deck repairs associated with an event of this type have also been dealt with. The owner is motivated to sell as sadly he does not have enough time to get the use out of her she deserves. A great entry level Class 40 with good inventory, sensible upgrades, new rig, a good set of North 3DL sails, new autopilot, new radar and plotter display. Absolutely ready to sail.
