Kilcullen Voyager in first competative outing
Reviving a famous rivalry between the Royal Galway and Royal Cork Yacht Clubs; the 2015 Galway Plate was a brilliant race between two IMOCA 60s. Kilcullen Voyager, skippered by Enda O’Coineen faced off with Alex Thomson’s Hugo Boss in Cork Harbour.

One Planet, One Ocean & Pharmaton take 4th in the Barcelona World Race
Aleix Gelabert and Didac Costa crossed the finish line off Barcelona's W-Hotel at 21.12 UTC on Wednesday, April 8th. The Barcelona based duo returned to their home port in fourth place - both sailors completing their first circumnavigation, non-stop, having covered the 23,321-mile theoretical course in 98 days, 9 hours.

New Class 40 for 2015 from Owen Clarke Design
The all new Owen Clarke Design (OCD) Class 40 is for a new owner in the United States. She is a fully custom (although built in female production tooling) Class 40, now under construction at Carbon Ocean Yachts (COY) in Bristol, Rhode Island.

Pierre Brasseur (Matouba) finishes Route du Rhum
Pierre Brasseur (Matouba) finished sixth (fifth after Jury decision) across the finish line at 03:27:44 hrs UTC Thursday morning. The skipper of the 2009 Owen-Clarke design took 17d14h27m44s to sail the 3542 miles from Saint Malo to Pointe a Pitre of the Route du Rhum Destination Guadeloupe.

Owen Clarke trimaran success at Nationals
The trimaran Spirit snatched second place in the Australian Multihull National titles. This Owen Clarke 40’ tri built In the UK in the early 90’s and formerly owned by IMOCA 60 skipper Mike Golding bested a number of more recent designs including an all carbon Farrier designed tri with a canting rig.
