KORENOC is one of the most elegant and extremely well balanced sail boats ever designed by Alex Vismara. The yard, Valdetarro, was the yard resposible for the build of yachts for the Kennedy family and Marshal Tito back in the 50’s. However, Korenoc was built with a very different generation of craftsmen, many of these were responsible for building yachts for America’s cup teams. The technology used to build this boat was at the time cutting edge using the very latest technology. The current owner has made modifications since taking over ownership in 2006 in order to bring the boat up to the exceptional finish levels of that of Baltic Yachts (the descriptions in the listing may give a sense of this attention to details.) This individual has previously owned a Baltic 67 and before that he was a Swan owner (Swan 56 hull 01 & Swan 80 hull 01); these Swan yachts were pretty but far too heavy and never perfectly balanced, nor capable of going above their hull’s speed for more than a few seconds.
