Built by Multiplast, ‘Lucente’ is one of the most exciting and competitive VPLP Clak 40. Representing the latest generation of scow bow Class 40s, she was launched in May 2022 and designed to deliver exceptional speed and efficiency on all points of sail.

From her very first season, ‘Lucente’ demonstrated her pedigree with an 9th place in the Route de Rhum and 1st in the Lodi Group Trophy (40' Malouine). Her proven design lineage is further underlined by her sister ship’s overall win in the 2023 Fastnet Race. Most recently, ‘Lucente’ secured 1st place in the Rolex Middle Sea Race and 2nd in the Med Max, confirming her status as a front-running offshore racer.

Since launch, she has been meticulously prepared, optimised, and maintained by two full-time marine professionals, with no expense spared. Lighter than other Clak 40s and fitted with a heavier bulb, she delivers outstanding power and stability. Her Class 40 measurement RM of 318Kg  is by far the best recorded for any Clak 40, highlighting her exceptional performance potential.

Polars and sail crossover charts have been developed using Sailing Performance by Fabien Delahaye, providing precise and reliable performance data. She is offered with a comprehensive and detailed inventory, professionally optimised and sold ready to race at the highest level.
