‘Kite’, a 2015 Mach 40.3 is one of the faster designs in the sharp bow category within Class 40. Designed by Sam Manuard and built in 2015 by the JPS Production shipyard, renowned for the quality of its construction, Kite is a fast, proven, and reliable race boat with great results. Not only did ‘Kite’ hold the Class 40 24-hour speed record she quickly found her way onto the podium with many early race triumphs. Most notable were the Fastnet and Transat Jacques Vabre wins in 2017.

The emergence of the Class 40 ‘sharp bow’ category within the Class 40 rankings gives the possibility for good amateur teams to compete against the optimised scows, as well as race within their own category. Kite is a well built and maintained vessel with an enviable inventory that will perform well in existing trans-oceanic events or as an ideal Globe 40 entry. Ready to race she awaits a keen skipper to make the most of her capabilities. A viewing is highly recommended.
