Built by Multiplast, ‘Influence’ is a fantastic example of a VPLP Clak 40. This high performance and reliable boat has been campaigned in 2022 in Les 1000 milles des Sables and went on to achieve a 1 st in the Round Ireland Race. She was no stranger to the podium in 2023 placing 3rd in the Massilia Cup and the Rolex Middle Sea Race whilst her sister ship won the 2023 50th Anniversary Fastnet Race. With the ubiquitous scow bow this boat has been designed to perform fast and efficiently on all points of sail. She has three separate ballast tanks per side to optimise trim and with the mast stepped behind the keel this allows for excellent balance and control from the lifting twin rudders.
