The latest model in the J/Boat Sports pedigree has been christened the ‘Fast, Fun Speedster’. The J/99 is a true dual-purpose vessel combining great offshore racing performance with comfortable cruising capabilities. The deck layout and sail plan are optimised for easy handling, which can be sailed solo, shorthanded or with up to 8 for fun day sailing.
Fully compliant with World Sailing OS Category 2 the J/99 is an ideal short-handed racer, regularly placing at the top of the most competitive double-handed offshore fleets across the globe. ‘Calypso’ has proved herself to be a winner on the racecourse not just in local IRC races but also the Rolex Middle Sea Race where she placed 2

The J/99 interior is roomy and designed for comfort with a small galley, 8 sleeping berths, and a nav station, equally suitable for offshore races or a weekend cruise. There is a marine head and sail storage in the forepeak.
