Teata is a Guillaume Verdier designed Tizh 40, built by BG Race in France in 2016. Tizh meaning speed is an evolution of its predecessor, the Tyker 40. This later model Class 40 has a low centre of gravity, stripped out interior and borrows solutions from both the Mini Transat and IMOCA 60 classes. The power and overall ergonomics make for an efficiently aggressive boat. With its sleek hull lines and voluminous bow, the Tizh 40, was built to take on the oceans at high speed; the design is both powerful and light.

This Class 40 did not take long to find its feet at the front end of the fleet, she has performed well in med races as well as Atlantic races. In 2018 she had some well-deserved podium places with a 1st in the ArMen Race and a 2nd in Grand Prix Guyader. More recently achieving 3rd in the Corsica Med Cup 2022. Standing the test of time, she races competitively with the best of the fleet and is ready to undertake any challenging sailing program with a new owner.
