The S4 is the fourth generation of Class 40 from Pogo Structures, designed by Guillaume Verdier, and launched in 2021. Designed to be versatile, powerful and most-important structurally reliable, Verdier combines his usual emphasis on minimum drag for offwind and light air speed with a powerful scow bow for higher average speeds throughout the wind range. The chines extend from the bow to the transom and provide the boat with fabulous stiffness. The sheltered cockpit where most of the manoeuvres can be orchestrated, offers improved comfort and safety. This model benefits from an optimised deck plan with the latest versions of fittings and lifting, sabre profile rudders.
