Launched on budget and on time, Spirit of Adventure, January 2004 pictured here on her maiden cruise to Kauwau Island in the Hauraki Gulf, New Zealand. In 2005 her sixty nine year old owner sailed her single-handed from Auckland to Tahiti. In 2006 and 2007 she sailed the Pacific again with extended members of the owner's family before being sailed yet again singlehanded back from Tahiti to Auckland. In 2008 with various friends and family aboard she made her way to Africa north over Australia to Indonesia, before crossing the Indian Ocean later in the year, finally mooring up in the Seychelles before Xmas.
