We are excited to introduce Anabel, a custom-built world cruising yacht designed for adventurous sailors to explore the furthest corners of the globe. With only one owner who was fully involved in the commissioning of the boat, no detail has been overlooked.  Constructed of aluminium her ‘light ice’ class rating and lifting keel make her well-suited for high-latitude passages and shallow anchoring. Anabel is equipped for long-term independence with solar panels, wind and water generators, and robust onboard systems. She is a yacht not only built for self-reliance but with comfort and luxury at her core. Inside, the layout includes a spacious saloon with a solid wood dining table, a well-equipped galley, three spacious cabins, and a secure pilothouse for comfortable and safe navigation. Having completed a global circumnavigation Anabel represents a rare opportunity for those seeking a proven, self-sufficient cruising platform to fulfil their adventures.

For sale, an aluminium hull world cruising yacht, the Bestevear 66 is designed for the high latitudes with her lifting keel and light ice rating. Designed by Dykstra Naval Architects with strength, stability, reliability and safety for demanding ocean conditions. The pilothouse offers safe navigation.

Anabel was designed by Dykstra Naval Architects and built in 2014 by KM Yachtbuilders to the highest standards to navigate high latitudes. Constructed of 8mm Alustar aluminium and configured with five watertight compartments, Anabel offers strength, stability, safety, and reliability in demanding ocean conditions. The welded aluminium hull incorporates a vertical stem, aft raked lifting keel and twin rudders. Hull plating thickness varies from 8mm up to 15mm in the area surrounding the keel for enhanced structural integrity. The chain locker is both watertight and pump-drained, while the battery and engine compartments are also designed to be watertight and ventilated. Additionally, transducers are housed in watertight enclosures to optimise functionality and safety. The integral diesel and water tanks are separated by a coffer dam.

The white interior of the boat is complemented by the timber highlights throughout. Using both Tiger wood for the high impact areas and Indian Apple for the cabinets, the finish demonstrates the skill of the craftsmanship involved. The individual portlights are finished with light blue roller shutter blinds. In the pilot house the navigator’s seat is from a Porsche 911, whilst built into the sole is a reinforced glass panel to enable regular engine monitoring.
