Owen Clarke's 40' lifting keel blue water cruising yacht that's been under construction in Chile has a new look. The deck concept having taken a new turn during construction, while the interior layout has remained much the same. A 270 degree wrap around window coachroof has been designed and engineered, altering the extrnal aesthetic of the yacht from sports cruiser to be more in line with its explorer function

The current technical specification of the composite version includes:
Keel Fabricated high tensile lifting steel fin with composite fairings.
Steering Titanium rudder stocks. Cable controlled single central wheel.
Rig Two spreader, carbon fractional rig with slab reefing carbon boom.
Construction Epoxy, Carbon, S and E Glass on foam core.
Systems Main engine: Volvo D-30,
Water ballast 1050 kg per side
Deck systems Harken hardware and winches. Manually deployed anchor arm.
